Getting Started with our Alsobrooks App!

Why an app?

The most important thing you can do to volunteer for the campaign is to talk with your friends and family about the campaign! With our Alsobrooks app, you can get the latest talking points and updates about the campaign. You can share them with your friends and family and keep a record of your outreach. We’ll remind you when important voting dates are coming up and give you the support you need to organize your network!

Does this steal my contact data?

Nope! You own your data including your contacts. Conversations you have with your friends and family are private and aren’t shared with the campaign. We only have access to the data you provide on how those conversations go. Empower is run by a non-profit and does not sell or own the data you enter into the app.

Do I have to call / text through the app?

Nope! You can text and call your friends and family on your own. You can also send them information on social media, over WhatsApp, or in person! The Alsobrooks app simply lets you record when you have a conversation so we can know how many conversations we are having.

Can I invite someone to use the app?

Absolutely! This is a people-powered campaign, meaning we need everyone to get their friends involved AND to get on our Alsobrooks app! As you talk with your network, the end goal should be for them to get involved too.
