Research Associate

Angela Alsobrooks for Senate is seeking a Research Associate to join a growing team.

‍

‍This Senate seat is pivotal to ensuring that Democrats keep the Senate this November. Ideal candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and capable of showing leadership in a fast-paced environment.

‍

Responsibilities: 

• Producing campaign research materials, such as background documents, audio/video research, and rapid response components; 
• Effectively executing research tasks assigned by department leadership;
• Maintaining and updating media monitoring logs and daily clips; 
• Vetting. 

‍

Qualifications:

• Prior political campaign experience or experience in a research role strongly preferred; 
• Experience with commonly-used research databases such as Lexis-Nexis, campaign finance, and public records a plus;
• Flexibility to quickly change projects in a fast-paced environment and work with different members of the research team;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Largo, Maryland
